Welcome and thank you for your interest in Learn English Today.

This website was set up in 2003 by an experienced EFL teacher living and working in France.
The aim was to help students with some basic grammar rules.

The success of the content and the encouraging messages from visitors were incentive to continue to develop the site.

Learn English Today now offers a wide range of free materials and resources to help learners of English as a second or foreign language (ESL/EFL) to improve their language skills.
Some of the material may also be useful to teachers.

The author has now retired, but all through her teaching years she found the internet to be a wonderful resource and is happy to continue to share her knowledge and experience with others.
